The Northern Hills Youth Council is a group where everyone can come together as a team and help build on our communities. It provides a great learning experience and the opportunity to make new relations with others, being able to do something for others is one of the greatest feelings in the world and the NHCA definitely brings that feeling to its members. We host many events throughout the year for families to come out and enjoy, seeing the smiles on other people’s faces is what keeps us going. The NHCA is not just an association but a family as well.
The Northern Hills Youth Council participated in a family day event in which we had fun activities for the kids and a bake sale, many people showed up and it was a great success to see everyone enjoying the day of being with their families.
The Northern Hills Youth Council also hosted a talent show event where many people joined to show their talents to other people and provide entertainment for the audience.
The Northern Hills Youth Council held a movie night for the people especially the kids who really enjoyed it and parents got a few laughs out of it and the smiles to see their kids enjoy.
The Northern Hills Youth Council is constantly on the verge of creating events for the community as well as finding improvements that can be made as well, regular meetings really provide a chance for the members to express how they feel and let their voice be heard on certain issues which can be improved upon. We are still long ways from achieving the community we want to see, but with the help of our members and the volunteering community, we can build upon the vision that this association has seen.
