My name is Reuben Christian and I am an IB student at Notre Dame High School. I love to play basketball and draw. Drawing really allows me to express my emotions in an artistic way. Playing basketball is my escape from reality in which I can connect with the game completely. I have four best friends, Josh, Olivia, Jason, and Steve.
I am a hard working person and I believe that if I put in the work, the results will come. I love spending time with friends because they are the people who truly understand me and I am comfortable with them. I like to play volley-ball as well and work out. Fitness is a big part in my life and I try to live an active lifestyle as much as possible because being a couch potato is impossible for me. I like to have fun and joke around, I am very talkative once I’m more comfortable with people and I try to be optimistic even through the toughest of times.
I decided to join the NHCA because I believe I should give back to my community, I take so much for granted in life and it is time I be generous and use my time, talent, and treasure towards other people. My friends shape a big part of my social life because they are always there for me and being together in classes unifies us, knowing that I have such amazing people around me, life feels so much brighter.
