#GetMovingYYC is a campaign to get Calgarians more active, more often.
Our SPRY in the Hills group will be participating with a special aquacise class and their regular seniors’ fitness classes… what will you do to get moving?
#GetMovingYYC Community Challenge with Vivo!
Let’s all help The City of Calgary meet their goal of 24 hours of movement during the week of November 28 – December 3, 2016. Help get Calgarians more active, more often, with these activities:
- FREE (with Food Bank donation) Public Skate at Vivo on November 29th from 7:15-8:30PM
- Movement Breaks at Vivo! You know it’s time to move when the music starts to groove – stop what you are doing and lunge, squat, or do jumping jacks until the music fades!
- Join in from work or home by having intermittent Movement Breaks there too!
- GO PLAY! Here are some ideas to try at work, home or play:
- Have a game of soccer or street hockey!
- Find an outdoor rink and go skating!
- Have a dance party – outdoors or indoors!
- Build a snow fort!
- Go for a brisk walk or run!
- Try a new fitness class!
