For those of you chompin’ for veggies and looking to buy local you’ll be excited to hear we’ve started our Northern Hills Community Farmers Market Committee. We’re a group of passionate people ready to bring you a market close to home.

We are in the starting stages, and are looking for a location in or around the Northern Hills that has a zoning suitable for a Farmers’ Market (the City of Calgary says it must be CCOR-3 or CR-1).
June 2012 update: So far we haven’t found anywhere that is suitably zoned, so we are searching further afield and looking into other options for how to bring fresh, organic fruit and veggies to our area.
